👋 Hi! My name is Libby and I’m a feminist communications professional with a background in feminist research and grassroots organizing. My career focuses on the advancement of human rights and social justice, and I have experience working with nonprofit and civil society organizations on sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender-based violence, food security, and housing.
My communications and campaign work is rooted in hope, defiance, and thinking outside the box, drawing expertise from leaders in narrative change.
I hold an Interdisciplinary Master of Arts in Gender Studies and Feminist Research from McMaster University and a B.A. in Gender and Women’s Studies and English from the University of King’s College and Dalhousie University.
I am currently employed at Action Canada for Sexual Health and Rights, where I am leading campaigns for sexual and reproductive health and rights advocacy.
In my spare time, I enjoy scouring thrift stores, sampling local craft beer, and hunting Nova Scotia shores for seaglass.
